Purpose: For the artist to make his own (glazing) medium and as an ingredient for a paint formula. Composition: Linseed stand oil – Greatly increases the gloss and the drying time – Slightly yellowing (between poppy seed and linseed oil) – Can be thinned with white spirit or turpentine – Traditional glazing medium – Not to be used in lower coats when mixed with paint
